Advanced Practice - Thursday 18th September 2008 - 7:45 pm - 9:00 pm
A practice held at Haddenham/Cuddington for those wishing to advance their ringing into surprise major. Please don't hesitate to contact Ed Houghton (see our officers page) for more information.
Michaelmas training day - Saturday 20th September 2008 - 10am until 5.30pm
The aim is that students can learn methods such as treble bob minor to more advanced Surprise Major methods. There are six groups:
- group 01 Treble Bob Minor.
- group 02 Cambridge Surprise minor.
- group 03 Stedman Triples.
The above groups to be held at towers around Aston Clinton.
- group04 Treble Bob and Plain Major (beyond Plain Bob)
- group05 basic Surprise Major.
- group06 advanced Surprise Major.
The above groups to be held at towers within the Reading area.

Method Practice - Tuesday 14th October 2008 - 7:30pm - 9:00pm
This Practice will be held once a month on a Tuesday at North Marston by our ringing Master, Ed Houghton. The plan is to start from where the ability range allows, then work forward, progressively, to new methods.
All are encouraged to come, if you can 'Plain Hunt', you can Progress!

Orchard Cup Striking Comp - Saturday 18th October 2008 - time TBC
This year hosted by Wendover (newly rehung 8) in the Chiltern Branch; this World famous competition will once again see the clash of Titans battling for the glory of winning for their Branch! - then tea and cakes.
Steeple Aston training day - Saturday 1st November 2008 - 9.15am – 20.30pm
